\nMy first response was that the tribe should be able to "keep" their lands. I dont think its right that they're trying to take them away from the people.

\nIt would be beneficial but there were taken away a long time ago, im sure as native people we had to adjust to it. We cant really do anything about it now. The whole situation upsets me, and they shouldnt have taken away our sacred hills in the first place. \/:<

\nI would rather see the lakota get the money for the black hills, There is alot of things we could use the money for. The native people had to adjust to it and im pretty sure they are already "well-adjusted"

I am all for this topic and i support this guy. I think we as a people who were here first and had ownership of the Black Hills should have the right to have more control over the lands that are rightfully ours.

Tourism in South Dakota is at a high due to one thing the black hills. It's a pretty interesting article. Yes & No. Yes, becasue it was our land in the first place & we should be able to have that land. & No, Because the land is destroyed right now. The trees are dying from the beetle, the land is all mined, and it is very "used up right now. Receive the land back. Because it is better to have what once was ours, to be given back to us. Money is going to be used up very quickly.
