Underage drinking as been a major topic in the United States for the past decade. Many Americans believe lowering the legal drinking age can decrease the binge drinking that occurs at many colleges, others believe that lowering it would encourage dangerous behaviors at a younger age. I personally think lowering it would allow a lot of opportunities for many Americans, like becoming more responsible for alcohol consumption while drinking in moderation. It would also allow many of our soldiers under the age of 21 to consume alcohol for a major cause: PROTECTING our country...
